BACKGROUND COLOURS2.jpg

In the year 2020/21 we increased our income considerably as extraordinary funding was given for immediate relief for our children, young people and families.

Emergency funds were received from Aberlour’s Urgent Emergency Assistance Fund, The Corra Foundation, South Lanarkshire’s Renewable Energy Fund and The STV Appeals.

These funds enabled us to provide additional services, purchase equipment to enable home working and pay for additional staff hours to cover the increased demands for the service during the year. A one-off grant of £46,000 from The Scottish Government enabled COVEY to make plans to strengthen our infrastructure and staffing provision.

Without the investment from South Lanarkshire Council, the Scottish Government and other funders COVEY would not have been able to provide the support to the young people and families in Lanarkshire to help them through this difficult year.

Thank you also to all who supported COVEY through giving additional funds, staff time and personal donations; Hamilton College, Tesco Bags of Help and donations through Just Giving.
